Buying Plaidy

Recently someone (Daphne I think) suggested The Book Depository for buying the UK reprints. The shipping cost is free and there are several titles to choose from that are not available in the US by Three Rivers Press. I ordered one of the Plantagenet series books and it was a smooth transaction and got here in no time! The books range from about $9-12 each, so it is an amazing deal! Now I have my first brand new UK printing of a Plaidy novel! My collection is so mismatched - with ex-library, horribly ugly 70's mass markets and my beloved Three Rivers Press reprints - but I love them all!

  1. I'm going to try them too. How long did the shipment take?

  2. Arleigh - I have a similar hodgepodge, including a hysterically covered "Red Rose of Anjou" with Henry VI looking hunky!

Thanks for the heads up on the supplier

  3. I'm so glad you gave them a try! I ordered a couple of books from there a little over a week ago and one arrived yesterday and one today. My covers are terribly mismatched, and as much as I have been tempted to buy all the new ones from the UK so that they match, I really can't justify buying books I already have when there I so many others I want!

  5. What a great blog! I am currently reading and enjoying Battle of the Quens. I'm working my way through the Plantagenets and then will start on the Tudors.
