Friday Fans Want to Know: Who would you want?

Set back the clock a few centuries…You’ve been banished to the tower and are in desperate need of Prince charming to save you from it all …which Plaidy Hunk would you want as your champion?

  1. This is clever and a very hard to answer question because Plaidy doesn't over romantisize her characters. Their flaws show just as much as their good qualities.

I would have to say Owen Tudor from The Queen's Secret. He was kind, romantic and constant.

  2. I have only ready 2 Plaidy's but I would say Ippolito from Madame Serpent. He was really sweet to Catherine, even though he was kind of weak.

PS. there is an award for you at my blog http://themaidenscourt.blogspot.com/

  3. I saw this yesterday.. and well, I just cannot pick out a Plaidy hunk without getting past Robert Dudley. So it must be him, although I am not really a big fan of him LOL (Are am I a closet Dudley Supporter?!) Now I wonder!

  4. I don't think Plaidy's written anything about my beloved Louis XIV...I know she wrote about both his son and grandson though. Well right now I'm so into Louis-that he would be my first choice for sure. Next in line would be Louis XVI for his loyalty and I'm convinced he would do anything in his power to save his beloved (although I'm not sure if Plaidy correctly portrays him as such in her novels...)

  5. No, Lucy, she does not... Louis is weak and ineffectual in The Queen's Confession. Not sure about the French Revolution series. Now Count Ferson... forgot about him :)
